Peaches is like the indie pop Lil’ Kim. Her lyrical themes are sexual, intense and just downright dirty, I love it. For the squares who can’t handle this type of circle, she may be a little much for you. Her new album, I Feel Cream, is due in a month and from what I’ve heard it won’t be dissapointing. Yes the album is called I Feel Cream, and yes her last album was called Impeach My Bush and the one before that Fatherfucker. Yes, you are a pervert. By no means however should you mistake Peaches for some sort of brainless pop music slut, there is in fact a method to her madness. When asked why she would call her album Fatherfucker she said:
Why do we call our mothers motherfuckers? Why do we stub our toe and say, “Aww motherfucker!â€? What is a motherfucker? … We use it in our everyday language, and it’s such an insanely intense word. I’m not one to shy away from these obscene terms that we actually have in our mainstream. Motherfucker is a very mainstream word. But if we’re going to use motherfucker, why don’t we use fatherfucker? I’m just trying to be even.â€
Modern feminist? Unorthodoxed rebel? Whatever it is, you’ve gotta love the hyper aware people in this world, they’re the only one’s always trying to make things better. With so much complacency, indecision and middle-mindedness in 2009, it’s hard to find people with real conviction and indentity. So here’s to Peaches and her new album, enjoy fatherfuckers.

Unless I’m completely wrong, Peaches went on a mindless rant in an attempt to be indie and rebellious; I can’t stand that type of person.
The term “motherfucker” strikes me as a swearword meant to trash a man who slept with someone’s mother.
Whether the man raped the woman or had consensual sex is beside the point as fucking a mother is universally off limits because the woman is viewed as pure, proper, moral, and thus, unfuckable.
Fatherfucker probably wouldn’t get much wear and tear as very few women likely slept with married men when this term was created somewhere in, I’m guessing, England.
Furthermore, “motherfucker” is a term meant to solely insult men, similar to “son of a bitch,” meaning that males are the only vulnerable targets, sparing the females from criticism.
At least she sounds righteous.
All that bullshit being said, motherfucker might have meant “fuck my mother!”
Love it.
