holy fuck I’m loving this mix. here we go:
track 1: we all know where this all goes- into air drumming while chainnnnn-ain-ain smoking in ryan’s beamer on the way to sail.
track 2: I think of salami the whole time I listen to this song. That and a lounge covered in red velvet and bad lighting. and club monaco circa 2001. sorry. not my favorite.
and then track three. I fucking love a-trak. and the word alchemy. at 2:28 I’m jamming with steph in a club and then we’re at the beach and then in a plane….by about 4:25 we’re at hiro.
4: early spring and the cherry trees around the central park reservoir. and loose petals that have fallen all over the dirt running path.
5: this is not me at 16. unfortunately – it’s more like now….but igor has braces….not me. but we all definitely work at the pentagon. that part is true.
6: YESSSSSSSSSS. NO WORDS. JUST PARTY MOVES AND PARTY DRESSES. SEQUIN ONES. black sequins, and spaghetti straps and champagne and a disco ball and jumping on banquettes. and falling in love or out…
7: damn good. damn.
8: I wish I could walk around nyc with songs like this blasting from a boom box on my shoulder.
9: saturday afternoons during ny winter with no real sunlight and rain and snow and walking down the street with a hat and mittens and loving whats in your ears and loving strangers.
10: sunday nights with blankets radiators and movies and hugs and mochi.
11: everything. the beach on cape cod in early october with a blanket around my shoulders and jumping on the sand and screaming watching the bioluminescence and lying on the sand and learning about the sand.
