Cut Copy, Oh mercy, Clue to Kalo and the list goes on. The Aussie’s have been pumping out great artist and bands like America Samoa produces NFL players – a lot.
I was thinking of the best way to explain this songs meaning and the only that came to mind was a line from Hypnotize that perfectly captures the songs essense.
Gon’ blast squeeze first ask questions last, that’s how most of these so called gangsta’s pass.” (Notorious B.I.G.. Hypnotize)
The older we get the more we think, rationalize and calculate everything before we act which usually leads to no action at all. The easiest way to lose is to be caught thinking while the world passes you by – “that’s how most of these so called gangsta’s pass.” Given that the nature of the world is endless possibilities you can imagine how lame it can be to get old and get trapped in this mentality. So while most people would call this a love song, I think it has a great meaning to do with capturing the innocence of youth, following your gut and constantly moving forward, enjoy.
Won’t stop till it’s over, won’t stop to surrender…”

Woops, that’s a typo, thanks.
If this song didn’t get played every 10 minutes to advertise that new show “The Deep End” I may not have been sick of it before I found out the band name..
I coulnd’t agree more with the main point of this post. “Sweet disposition”. God may open a door, but its up to our own lazy asses to walk through it. Great post, HAUNTING song that will forever remind me of a) 500 days of summer, b) my first morning walks in my grandmas garden in 2010. Peyce
Love it !… not as much as “love lost” but it’s still quite good.
I found the meaning of this song to be about how everything is infinite but moments of love, a kiss, joy, loss are all temporary and so life is best experienced with wanton abandon since nothing ceases or lost and all comes to full circle.
