It’s the first of the month and 2010 is looking better and better by the moment. February was a great month for EMPT, our following has never been stronger and our new company is only a few weeks away from launch (stay tuned). Maintaing EMPT is hard work and you barely get to take a break, that is until Steph sends me her latest masterpiece and I get to sit back and get it ready for release. After an entire month of work it’s sort of like dessert after a big meal, though when you’re dealing with Steph is more like dessert before dinner. Either way, this tape is yet another completely different and unique experience, LMDM will never get old, enjoy.
Le Miel du Mois: Mars:March. Today marks 17 days until forthebeat is at sxsw and 20 days until the first day of spring, both can’t come soon enough. This mix aims to get you through the last few weeks of winter with your dancing shoes laced up tight to dance through the night (yes this was meant to rhyme). One of my favorite new artists is Coma Cinema, if you havent listened to the album yet, better get on it fast. wasssup with the single mp3 track??????? can we please stop being lazy and just make one zip file of all the tracks? I love the montly playlist but this is soo annoying
Actually, putting the files in a folder and making a zip would be the lazy thing to do, as well as the illegal thing thing to do. LMDM is made to help spread new music and takes us valuable time to make this a mixtape. If you want individual file go to iTunes and buy them.
Uhm, what’s the difference between posting download links for some of the songs and all of them? 4/12 songs have hyperlinks and a few other can be found simply searching your site like “i’ll get you”. Don’t get me twisted, you guys have me feeling like every 1st of the month is my birthday but you used to have the one zip file too. Just sayin’.

Mon copain est obsédé par le remix de Stylo de Gorillaz utilisé dans le Miel du mois de mars… Est-ce que ça serait possible de l’avoir séparément du mix? Je l’ai trouvé dans sa version officielle mais il me semble que dans le miel elle est plus rapide et il y a plus de beat (donc elle est bien meilleure!).
Vos mix sont les meilleurs, on les adore!
