I always play this song at parties but kept forgetting to post it.
Private is a group from Copenhagen, DK who listened to a lot of Michael Jackson and Quincy Jones while growing up. Every time I play this song or Crucify My Heart I get the chills just thinking about MJ and how he continues to live on through all the people who respect his style. Unfortunately, these money hungry jerks released that poor excuse for a new album under his name but history will soon forget that even happened..

Secret Lover went straight to number 1 in Denmark but that’s a no brainer, Thomas Troelsen is a fantastic singer and a very talented producer. Give a song like this a shot it’s going to make some noise. Apparently, Private is regarded as a pop group which in my book is a huge compliment considering how their production decisions tend to stray from the stereotypical pop fair. When the underground and mainstream love you equally it usually means you’re doing something authentic. We’re starting to see a lot more of that these days which is a pretty good sign for music in general, let’s keep it going Private! Enjoy.

If there is a stock of MJ songs that were never released you expect the company that has the rights to them to just sit on them? It is the music business after all. Please dont tell me you produce beats and host dj parties for free because you love music so much.

I don’t work for free but I do hold my self to an extremely high standard and so did Michael Jackson which is why his music was some of the best we’ve ever been blessed with. If I didn’t feel like I could find the best music for you guys, throw the best parties or produce the best music I simply wouldn’t do it.
When someone uses Michaels name and releases a mediocre product to capitalize on the buzz behind his death then they are being money hungry jerks. Quincy produced Thriller, the greatest selling album of all time and he was the first one to call out the Jackson estate for this last album. No one works for free but making money is not an excuse for mediocracy.
And yes, I ran this site for FREE for a long time because I love music THAT much.

Yes, you’re right, the label is out there to put out mediocre music from the greatest pop artist ever, good job with that one. I love your blog, but that is a ridiculous statement. The atrocious amount of red tape from the estate is to blame, so if you have a product that you can put out, but the estate wants changes or else it doesn’t go out are you seriously telling me you wont put it out?
All I’m saying is to treat Michaels music with a little more respect. There are some songs on that album that sound like it’s not even Michael singing and this is a concern expressed by all his peers. So not only did they put out a rush job but chances are they had people imitating Michael to finish the songs. If that’s cool with people then so be it, just not my style.
