“British psychedelic quartet”, gotta love that description, I know I do. That’s exactly what I thought when I played Django Django’s Hail Bop but I couldn’t quite think of the words if that makes sense at all. The use of the drums, bass, and synth mixed with the vocal harmonies are really catchy, I immediately felt like I was driving down an open highway and all these different streams of color were zooming past me, YA I know, totally psychedelic. I love when music can make your mind create these really weird scenarios apposed to the typical musical scenarios about love, or tropical beaches, or parties.
When I was searching around the internet I was hoping their would be a video to go along with this track, and sure enough my wish came true but the images my mind came up with weren’t exactly what these guys had in their minds but still crazy and weird enough to keep your ears and eyes glued wondering what the hell is really going on.
If your not out at the beach or doing something super cool, and sitting home working like I am then you should definitely take a little break and bring a little psychedelic vibes to your day, enjoy!
