With a loyal following, these guys spin with the likes of Samantha Ronson, Chromeo, DJ AM, DJ Cassidy, DJ Berrie, Felix Cartel & Steve Aoki to name a few. Fans come to these parties dressed and ready to have a good time. Hot (Miami, LA, NYC, Chicago, Spain & Hamptons) clubs like LIV, Delux, Greenhouse, Tenjune, Marquee, Kiss & Fly, Dune, & Pink Elephant have hosted The Chainsmokers.
These guys love their music and to perform – the two passions of their lives. Their performances attract celebrities like Rihanna, Kid Cudi, Katy Perry, Ryan Gosling and the cast of Gossip Girl.
Heats
Born in the industrial town of Leeds, UK, Mark Heaton chose at an early age to forgo the usual factory gig and instead focus on music. Inspired by bands such as Dépêche Modeand INXS, Pink Floyd, and U2 he picked up the guitar and keyboard at an early age, and threw himself into composing and performing live. Heats, a founding member of the critically acclaimed band Your Vegas, moved to New York City to record the band’s debut album.
After Your Vegas was invited to open for bands like Duran Duran and The Bravery and perform on the US festival circuit (Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, SXSW etc.), Heats was sent spinning into a world so well known by touring musicians: long drives, late nights, bad food, and crappy hotels. He began mixing music whilst on the road in an attempt to relieve the boredom of airport layovers, which resulted in DJing the occasional friend’s party and after-show hang. Just as quickly as this hobby developed, Heats became serious about it.
His current favorites include anything from The Twelves, Penguins Prison, Crookers, Au Revoir Simone, Aeroplane, Breakbot, Mighty Mouse and bands such as Passion Pit, Phoenix, Two Door Cinema Club, Friendly Fires, Deloreon, Winter Gloves, Foals, Yeasayer, etc.. He has spun at the world-famous Townhouse club in Leeds, NYC’s The Eldrige, Brooklyn Bowl and the celebrated weekly TrainWreck Party at Pete Wentz’s Angels & Kings.
DJ Nick Low-Beer
Nick spent high school spinning hip hop and electronic in New York clubs Metropolis, The Tunnel, and The Palladium before he was old enough to drink. Within three months of moving to Colorado to attend University, Nick was playing a weekly radio show “90.5 kcsu’s The Takeover”, and soon played opening sets for any hip hop acts that came through town, KRS ONE, The Beatnutz, and Raekwon. Nick moved back to New York and currently travels the world looking for the next musical fix. Thankfully, he has been blessed to live a life surrounded by music mavens, musicians, and people who like himself are slaves to rhythm. He loves the chart toppers as well as the rarest white labels, and searches everywhere for the tools to move people. If you would like a party played with energy, and by someone who will enjoy it, Nick Low-Beer will happily oblige.
