Wesleyan (MGMT, Santogold, Boy Crisis, Amazing Baby) seems to just pump out musicians like Duke breeds NBA basketball players. Andrew Bird sits quite comfortably with the aforementioned, perhaps the best musician from the bunch, he can play violin, guitar, mandolin, and glockenspiel and he’s a great whistler. His music is not as new sounding as some would like but in now way is it lacking. “Oh No†is the highlight from his upcoming album “Noble Beast.†Good stuff.
