Chairlift – Don’t Give A Damn

First of all, I think Does You Inspire You is a brilliant album title. Second of all, Don’t Give a Damn is my favorite song on this album. The general consensus is that the song is about two juxtaposed lovers who are sick and tired of the nonsense etc. Given the concept romantic that I am I’ve taken the liberty of interpreting it as a general attitude toward any relationship, be it business or personal.

In the words of Van Morrison,“Meet them half way with love, peace and persuasion and expect them to rise for the occasion.” When they don’t, well, listen to this song, enjoy.
