Jens Lekman – An Argument With Myself

Everything about the lyrics in this track sum up how I feel about living in NYC.  The fast pace, always talking to yourself to keep your mind on its feet but having one hundred different things going round and round inside your head.  You tend to start arguing with yourself like your arguing with your twin and you almost have to laugh at how ridiculous your acting by arguing with yourself.

“Shut up, no, you shut up!
What’s the matter, take a number, Buttercup!
Every time I hear you say “Fuck it
I would remind you of the photo in your pocket…”

I love the upbeat reggae sounds in this track and how good it makes you feel which is kind of contradicting the lyrics.  It makes me want to go back to summer and not embrace the cold that is creeping up on us.

Its Friday people so relax, you have the whole weekend to feel good, hit the stop button in your head and talk to that lovely girl or guy in front you, and I don’t know about you but I’m gonna keep living in the summer days, I’m not ready for these winter days…Put this track on repeat and enjoy yourself!
