La Femme’s track Sur La Planche could be right out of a Quentin Tarantino movie or an old Clint Eastwood movie, hands down fits the dynamic of those films perfectly. I am not fluent in French but I understand things here and there, and I think when you are not straining to figure out what is being said you can pretty much figure it out for yourself, I feel like this is the same thing with any music you listen too. Sometimes I get to caught up in the music and don’t even listen to the lyrics, but I still know exactly what is going on, the scenario, the mood, you name it.
Lo-fi French surf music is making want to just get on a plane to the most exotic beach in the world, where I can just fling off my top and have absolutely no worries. Sur La Planche is all the retro and indie pop I need for the rest of the week, literally this completed the rest of my week and has gotten me completely prepared and pumped for the upcoming weekend.
Press play get “on the board”, and let yourself live in this track the way I am right now, enjoy!
