An old Skidmore friend sent me this song last week and man is it off the hook. The video is all over the place and feels like a very kinky dream someone had on drugs. It is extremely entertaining and somehow it fit songs eerie and mysterious nature to perfection. Kanye West isn’t the only one pushing music videos forward as this clip is actually part of a larger piece by filmmaker Nicolás Mendez’s which serves as interpretation of the album. I’ll certainly be looking forward to the next part and have it to you guys the second it gets to my inbox.

You wouldn’t be able to tell from the video but this is a love song and the lyrics have some amazing moments in it. On top of all that the song has steal drums in it and seriously, when’s the last time you heard a song with steel drums in it? Pablo Díaz-Reixa aka El Guicho just released his second album Pop Negro and if this is any indication as to what we can expect it’s going to be pretty darn good. Alright, I have to get to finish a build for a restaurant, get ready for the party tomorrow and be at a session at 1pm today so I can’t get into this song like I really want to but for the sake of feel good make sure you check this one out.
